Shipping & Delivery
Shipping and delivery does not need to be difficult. Most customers do not like to ship their firearms to places unknown. I do not blame them, even I would prefer to set up an appointment and discuss your project with you face to face. That may not be convenient for some customers and more and more work is brought in from outside of the tri state area.
Drop off is welcome and it is best to call for an appointment. I do not want to miss you if I have to step out or close the shop unexpectedly.
Shipping your firearm may be the most cost effective method of getting it here. As the original owner you can send your firearm to a licensed gunsmith without the use of a third party FFL dealer. You will however need to follow the guidelines set by the shipper of your choice. Both UPS and FedEx deliver to the shop weekly. Package your firearm in a hard case, insure it with your carrier, label it "adult signature only" and send it to the shop. Call before shipping and place a note in it with your contact information. You can track it with your carrier and you will be notified of its delivery.
For those who do not mind the extra cost can call the shop, provide the necessary credit card information and a shipping carton, address label including tape will be sent to your door. Place your firearm into the packaging, label it, and hand it back to the carrier. Shipping and handling charges will be charged to your credit card. This method eliminates the hassle of doing it yourself.

Turn Around Time
Turn around time is determined by the job. Over the counter work is preformed on a daily basis but is left to my discretion. Other rush work can be completed in a few days or weeks. Most work is taken in on a first come first serve basis. Larger projects like restorations, custom building, bluing, repairs requiring parts and large blocks of labor hours can be in the shop as long as 90 to 120 days and can be effected by the time of year and the scope of the project. I will do everything possible to work with your needs. Whether you have an upcoming hunt or are actively shooting or competing with your firearm. I understand nobody wants to wait for long. This is a custom shop not a production shop. They are worked on one at a time.

Pricing
Pricing is comparable with other professionals in the service industry. Due to the broad range of work requested, I will not try to publish a price list for each job. Estimates can be given when your firearm is received. Estimates are just that and cost may be a little more or even less than quoted. Unforeseen problems will need to be discussed and the cost agreed to accordingly. If shipping your firearm an estimate can be given when the gun is received. If you request not to have any work done you will be charged return shipping, handling and an estimating fee before return shipping of your firearm. The shop accepts cash, checks, Master card, Visa and Discover as payment. Deposit is required for materials with a cost of more than $100 at the start of larger projects. I require you to pay as we go for labor on larger projects but will not ask anyone to pay for labor that has not been completed.
